The note from “Ohari” really sums it up: We’ve been around some.
After totaling the years from comments, and adding three of my own (US Army), we have more than 540 years of military service among this group. Pretty impressive. Thanks to everyone for posting.
The winner of the books this week is “AR,” who added six years to the total.
If you didn’t win this week, hang in there and keep checking the blog for more chances to win great books.
If you’d like to buy either of the books from this week’s contest, click the title below to order yours from the Gun Digest book store:
- Standard Catalog of Military Firearms, edited by Phillip Peterson
- Tactical Pistol Shooting by Erik Lawrence.
About the Author: Corrina Peterson manages book acquisitions and production at Gun Digest Books, the leading publisher of books covering everything there is to know about guns, ammo and knives. Corrina's interest in firearms began as the result of a close relationship with an M16 during active duty military service and went on to include trap shooting, upland bird hunting and wilderness elk hunting.
